Beatriz Mariano is primarily a UI engineer of web and mobile applications and is experienced in backend development and DevOps. Previously she was a project manager, researcher and assistant designer to various small-press, independent publications and art exhibits. An artist and occasional translator for non-profits and human rights organizations, she also volunteers at community-based projects and initiatives. She values and espouses human-centered design, efficiency, scalability, inclusiveness, accessibility, ethics and artisanship when designing and coding.
